Privacy policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

1. Who we are

Scopeme is a condition-report tool for property managers in Queensland. In this policy, “Scopeme”, “we” and “us” mean the business that runs this website and the Scopeme service.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who sees it, where it is kept and how you can ask us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

We act in two roles. For our customers’ own staff and for people who contact us, we decide how the information is used. For inspection content about tenants and properties, the real estate agency that uses Scopeme decides what is recorded and why, and we process it for the agency under our agreement with them.

2. What we collect

We do not ask for payment card details in the app.

3. Why we use it

We use personal information to:

We do not sell personal information. We do not use inspection content to advertise to anyone.

4. Inside occupied homes

Inspections can happen in homes where people live. To limit what is captured:

If you are a tenant and want something removed from a report or recording, contact your agency first, or contact us using the details in section 10 and we will pass it on.

5. AI processing and overseas disclosure

Scopeme uses artificial intelligence to read inspection video, photos and audio and to draft the findings and descriptions. A person at the agency reviews and decides every finding before a report can be signed.

Files are stored in Sydney, Australia. To produce the drafts, content, including audio, is sent to our third-party AI service providers, which process it outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We only send what is needed for that step.

Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run Scopeme:
